Jolie A. Carnahan-Girondi, EA, MST, Founder and Managing Member

Jolie started her career in Accounting in 1992 working as a Cost Accountant for several affiliated construction companies in Erie, PA before entering Public Accounting in 1996. In 1998 she continued her career as a Tax Consultant for Chemel Kornick & Company before joining Horovitz, Rudoy & Roteman as a Senior Tax Manager in 2007.  Jolie left her position at HRR to found Carnahan & Associates, LLC in 2010.

Jolie earned a Masters of Taxation, with high honors, from Duquesne University in 2003 and a bachelor of Science in Accounting, with honors, from The Pennsylvania State University in 1994.

Jolie obtained the designation of "EA" (Enrolled Agent) in 2009 which qualifies Jolie to practice before the Internal Revenue Service.

Jolie is very active in the community.  She has served on the Board of Directors for Ursuline Senior Services, has served as Treasurer, Finance Committee Member and Church Council of Springdale United Methodist Church. Jolie has been very involved with Animal Friends, a no-kill animal shelter.

Jolie is also an Adjunct Faculty Member of DeVry University, where she teaches graduate tax courses for Keller Graduate School of Business, and also at The University of Phoenix where she teaches Financial Accounting for the Axia College.

Jolie's professional affiliations include membership in the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP).
